Lance

Lance began his life as an XL Denim & Flower cotton shirt in light blue, patterned with tiny white petals and finished with quiet details such as the patterned lining inside the collar and cuffs, waiting to be discovered. Carefully taken apart stitch by stitch in New York, Lance has been thoughtfully reconfigured by hand into a soft, easygoing skirt with a gentle swing and a sense of movement. This transformation is part of the Shkirt practice: converting men’s shirts into one-of-a-kind skirts through complete deconstruction and reconstruction.

Lance is made to fit you. The skirt can hug waists from approximately 20" to 35" and may feature four to eight buttons along the waistband, added during the tailoring process to allow for flexible, incremental adjustment and a precise fit. Share your measurements below, and Lance will be individually tailored to your body. Each Shkirt is a one-of-a-kind piece, made by hand in our New York atelier with a focus on fit, finish, and longevity.

Lance prefers a warm or cold wash with similar colors and a gentle hang dry.

Lance comes with Lifetime Care. We offer complimentary repairs for craftsmanship-related issues and invite clients to return their skirts or Shkirts for repair, alteration, or responsible recycling as part of our zero-waste commitment. Clients are responsible for shipping costs.
