Beau

Beau began his life as a Lucky Brand cotton shirt in light blue, patterned with black florals and finished with pearlized snap buttons, the tag proudly declaring him “distinctive western sportswear.” Carefully taken apart stitch by stitch in New York, Beau has been thoughtfully reconfigured by hand into a soft, easygoing skirt with Western-style pockets on both sides and a relaxed sense of movement. This transformation is part of the Shkirt practice: converting men’s shirts into one-of-a-kind skirts through complete deconstruction and reconstruction. Preserving the shirt’s original character, Beau carries a quiet confidence that only grows with wear and sunlight. He once roamed the range. Now he steals the show.

Beau is made to fit you. The skirt can hug waists from approximately 20" to 34.5" and may feature four to eight buttons along the waistband, added during the tailoring process to allow for flexible, incremental adjustment and a precise fit. Share your measurements below, and Beau will be individually tailored to your body. Each Shkirt is a one-of-a-kind piece, made by hand in our New York atelier with a focus on fit, finish, and longevity.

Beau prefers a warm or cold wash with similar colors and a gentle hang dry.

Beau comes with Lifetime Care. We offer complimentary repairs for craftsmanship-related issues and invite clients to return their skirts or Shkirts for repair, alteration, or responsible recycling as part of our zero-waste commitment. Clients are responsible for shipping costs.
